The Small Business Administration presented Referentia Systems Incorporated with the Administrator's Award of Excellence for excellence in federal government contracting at the SBA annual awards banquet in Honolulu today.
Referentia was nominated by Lockheed Martin for its outstanding performance, innovative solutions, professionalism, cost effectiveness and on-time delivery by the federal agencies that contracted its services. This award distinguishes Referentia's excellence in contracting among small businesses throughout the Western region including California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Hawaii and Guam.
"It is a significant achievement for a Hawaii company to be selected for this award among hundreds of other small business nominated throughout the Western region," said Hawaii SBA District Director Jane Sawyer. "It acknowledges Hawaii's capabilities to deliver successfully on government contracts at a national level."
"We are honored by this special recognition which highlights the teamwork of our customer-driven staff working together to provide strong contracting support and deliver value-added services to our Government customers," said Referentia President Nelson Kanemoto.
Referentia is a 2007 recipient of a three-year Mentor-Protégé agreement with Lockheed Martin sponsored by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Joint Robotics Lab, through the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
