QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM

Project quality is of vital importance to Referentia. Quality assurance is performed throughout the project, and assures that the process for the project is being followed and that the end result will fulfill the objectives that the project set out to accomplish.

For each project, a Quality Management Plan is established that addresses both the management of the project (Quality Assurance) and the product of the project (Quality Control). The goal of the Quality Management Plan is to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction through thorough understanding of customer requirements, managing in (vice inspecting in) quality, and influencing needs so that customer expectations are met or exceeded.

Quality Assurance has been formalized through the use of processes and checklists to ensure all QA steps are completed. Referentia has a Quality Assurance Tech Lead that conducts in-process testing and end product usability and reliability testing.

The Quality Assurance process involves the following:

  • Objectively auditing process compliance in the projects and the organization against their applicable process descriptions
  • Objectively evaluating work products and services against quality criteria, standards, and customer and user expectations.
  • Identifying and documenting noncompliance issues
  • Providing feedback to project staff and managers on the results of quality assurance activities
  • Ensuring that noncompliance issues are addressed

This process supports the delivery of high-quality products and services by providing the project staff and managers at all levels with appropriate visibility into and feedback on, processes and associated work products throughout the life of the project.
